Innovation Routes to China — Join Us This September
An invitation for Greek enterprises and researchers to explore China’s innovation hubs

CGICC is coordinating the participation of a delegation of Greek enterprises and research institutions in a unique programme of “Innovation Routes” (Διαδρομές Καινοτομίας) to China — taking place from 8 to 12 September 2026 in the Zhejiang and Jiangsu regions.

The programme is embedded within a major International Innovation Cooperation Conference, organised annually to foster collaboration between China and Eastern Europe. This is one of CGICC’s first flagship initiatives, and it offers a rare, fully-supported opportunity to establish direct connections with Chinese counterparts.

What the programme includes

  • Guided visits to enterprises and research centres in the Zhejiang and Jiangsu regions — two of China’s most dynamic innovation clusters.
  • Active participation in the International Innovation Cooperation Conference, including sessions focused on China–Eastern Europe collaboration.
  • Direct networking with Chinese and Central & Eastern European peers — researchers, entrepreneurs, and institutional leaders.
  • Structured matchmaking opportunities through the Innovation China Tour and the Enterprise Expansion to Central and Eastern Europe Training Seminar.

Costs and logistics

The organising institutions will cover all accommodation, meals, and in-China transport. Participants from Greece are responsible for their own return airfare to Ningbo.

This is a fully organised mission — not a self-directed trip. CGICC handles the programme design, institutional contacts, and on-the-ground coordination so you can focus on the connections that matter.

Who should apply?

This programme is open to representatives of:

  • Greek enterprises with an interest in the Chinese or Central & Eastern European markets
  • Research institutions and universities seeking Chinese partners for joint projects or funding applications
  • Technology startups exploring opportunities in Asia
  • Innovation professionals and policy practitioners in relevant fields
